For this reason, we let ourselves forget we can be successful and instead, see problems when we should be improving self confidence, creating extraordinary relationships, pushing our careers and even while trying to meet our goals rather than wasting our energy on the good things that might happen.
The truth of the matter is that, you should take action on what you have control over, and try your level best to limit risks for what you do not know. It is advisable to invest your energy and time wisely. Here are some tips to improve your self-belief:
Visualise Success to Improve Self Confidence
If you are doing something for the first time, take it as if you have already done it in the past. Close your eyes and vividly imagine your success at what you are really what you are going to do for the first time. Psychological research has showed that our mind does not know how to differentiate Vivid image and something that is real. For this reason, it everything vivid by involving all the five senses.
At the same time, you are recommended to look for someone who is already an expert and confident in what you are trying to do and copy them. Try as much as possible to model their beliefs, values, attitudes and behaviours for the context you want of being as confident as you can. The question however is, how can you achieve this?
This can be a great way to build up confidence. Any sort of class that gets you in front of people works – whether it’s classes on creating a presentation, theatre classes or any other sort – standing up in front of people allows you to become more comfortable with it and in turn become better.
Well, the first thing is to talk to them if you could and if you do not, try to get as much as exposure to them as you could. It does not matter whether you are going to speak to those who are close to the person or buy their product if they have some.
It all is impossible, try using the “as if” statement. Ask yourself this question, “If he was me in this situation, how would he act?” By doing this you will get to answer yourself the following questions; how should I be acting? How should I be acting? What should I be acting? How should I be speaking? And how should I be thinking? All these questions will surely keep make you confident.
Take your mind into the future and try seeing yourself as a big deal. This technique may seem a bit morbid but it works well. Imagine yourself at your death bed looking back over your life; surrounded by friends and family members. Imagine all the things you could achieve and those that you wish to achieve. This technique is known to eliminate fear.
Remember, fear is something that could cause you to lose out on 100% of opportunities that you have never taken advantage of. Surely if you ask people today what they want they will tell you. However, even though this is the case, many people never get the opportunity to fully get everything what they need in life. For this reason, it is important to think of what you are looking for, your goals and the things you are striving for. Believe that people will help you get what you want even if it is true or not and eventually you will find yourself believing that and adopt it as your own.
Ignore any negative inner voice. Otherwise you will find yourself back to where you were at the beginning.
